More about this tour
The Charyn Canyon was shaped over millions of years — today it stands out with majestic cliffs and vivid natural colours found almost nowhere else in Kazakhstan. The route passes the viewpoints of the Black Canyon, descends into the famous Valley of Castles among tall rock towers, and reaches an oasis on the Charyn River, where you can picnic in the shade of a relict Sogdian ash tree.
